Content Marketing Student Assistant

Do you want to educate the world on the importance of Candidate Experience in recruitment? đŸ™ŒđŸ»

We’re on a journey to make recruitment better for everyone! Let's be fair; it's lacking a bit and you’ve probably yourself applied for jobs, you wish you wouldn't. We've all been there, and there's a need for improvement, right?

At Starred x Talenthub, we're already working with the likes of Coca-Cola, Hilton, Deliveroo and Pandora to optimize their Candidate Experience and make sure that their recruitment processes are always candidate-centric.

As we continue to grow and expand our market presence, we're looking for a talented Content Marketing Student Assistant to join our dynamic Marketing team! 🎯

đŸ’Ș What you will be doing:

As a Content Marketing Student Assistant at Starred x Talenthub, you’ll put your digital skills to work with SEO, web content, webinar and other digital platforms to drive organic traffic to our website and boost the organic lead engine. Working in close collaboration with our Content Marketing Manager, you will help to execute on SEO and Organic Content strategies across our organic channels: website, blog and Social Media. Your passion and expertise in compelling written content and full professional proficiency in English will be key in boosting our organic content performance.

  • Working together with our SEO Consultant and Content Marketing Manager to research, plan and write articles to enhance SEO efforts and track their performance over time.
  • Maintaining our brand by creating graphics and visual assets for Social Media posts, webinar decks and website banners (using the Adobe Suite or Figma) using existing templates.
  • Supporting the team in planning, hosting and setting up educational and product-specific webinars to drive demand generation.
  • Assisting in planning and producing video content in collaboration with our external videographer.
  • Taking an active role in managing website and blog content in Webflow.
  • Assisting in ad-hoc content-related tasks.

📄 To do so, we think you have these competencies:

  • Enrolled in a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Marketing, Advertising, Business Administration, English language or related at a Danish university.
  • Fluent in written and spoken English (it’s a plus if you’re a native English speaker or have previously produced written content in English).
  • An understanding of basic SEO principles.
  • Familiar with graphic design concepts and tools such as the Adobe Suite or Figma.
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
  • Able to work 15-20 hours per week on average, with respect to your studies.

đŸ€  It’s not necessary, but it would be cool if you also had:

  • Experience with a CRM system (HubSpot).

😁 What do your friends say about you?

At Starred x Talenthub, we believe that the right cultural fit is just as important as professional skills and experience. A successful Content Marketing Student Assistant should be:

  • A team player: You're good at working with different teams and you always do so with the common goal in mind. You listen, share ideas and adapt to different working styles.
  • Creative: Innovative ideas come to you in your sleep. You love creative work and you thrive best when you’re given the autonomy to experiment with new content.
  • A Communicator: You're a great communicator who can explain complicated ideas in a simple way. When working with others, you communicate clearly and with respect.
  • A Problem-Solver: You have a positive mindset and approach everything with a can-do attitude. You like to take ownership and step in when there is a problem.
  • Adaptable: You like to work in a fast-paced environment and embrace change.

Who we are:

Talenthub//Starred is a fast growing tech-company, who within just a few years has become a global industry leader within ‘candidate-centric’ recruitment. The company is the result of a merger between two tech-companies (Talenthub & Starred), who have both dominated the space within ‘candidate-experience’ for the past couple of years. (You can learn more about the merger of our two great companies here.)

Recruitment teams from big enterprises worldwide (like Coca-Cola, Hilton, Volvo or Pandora) use our products and services to optimize their hiring experience and Employer Brand based on valuable insights from job seekers and Hiring Managers.

Through our journey, we’ve raised more than €7M, and we’re proud to be backed by strong European investors (among them the Danish VC funds Seed Capital and EIFO).

But wait, let’s also tell you about our workplace!

We are a team on a mission to pioneer recruitment and make it more candidate-centric worldwide. This demands hard work, but more importantly a strong team-spirit. We care about each other, and we all want every day at the office to be a good experience. This also means good food and drinks, social events, and the right equipment for you as an employee. We strive to create a friendly, fun environment where everyone can have a say, contribute with ideas, and be heard.

We expect this to be a part-time role based in our Copenhagen office, so you must be able to work an average of 15-20 hours per week. We are, of course, flexible when it comes to exam periods and your university schedule.

What now?

To apply for the position you only need to upload your CV. After doing so, we’ll get back to you within 10 workdays.

We have big ambitions, and we believe that finding the perfect match for every open position is very important to reach our goals. We know that candidates, on average, spend around 3 hours writing a cover letter, and we also know that most recruiters have a difficult time figuring out how to value the cover letter in the recruitment process. That's not fair!

Therefore, we approach hiring slightly differently. We do not ask you to create a cover letter but will invite you to a phone interview if there is a potential match between us.

If you have any questions about the position, please reach out to Lars van Wieren by email at lars@starred.com. I really look forward to hearing from you!
